I’m Palins problem - 50 yr old white conservative voter. I like her but she’s not presidential material...should have stuck it out as governor no matter how tough it got....no quitters...

So many problems with your opinion....but perhaps some questions would assist?

Should Nixon have quit? Anthony Weiner? Wu? When is "quitting" justified; under what conditions? What is the "tipping point" where quitting becomes the "lesser of two evils", so to speak?

Is quitting allowed in personal life? If not, then there would be no such thing as divorce, would there? No such thing as "job changers", "school dropouts", etc. Or is "quitting" justified in some cases? What are those cases (if any) and how does one make the decision to "quit"??

What....exactly....in your opinion, is "presidential material"? Was Johnson "presidential material"? Carter? clintoon? the stain? Of what is your "presidential" material woven? Where does Palin fall short?

Just curious, you understand....one conservative voter to another....

Really? I'm an almost 60 year old white conservative voter, and I think her resignation was a sign of her good character. She did the right thing. You never quit anything? What's wrong with quitting when its absolutely the right thing to do?

You need to watch the Unbdefeated. She did exactly the right thing (and helped us take back the House). She didn’t just “quit” she advanced in a different direction.

I met this gal in Indianola, Iowa after the Tea Party Rally. Watch the entire video.

Palin is not a quitter!

She accomplished all she wanted in one and a half years!

In all honesty the lawsuits were hurting the state. I don't know what you've heard about her quitting. But the truth is that the lawsuits cost Alaska $2 Mil. Although Palin had to pay for her own defense the state had to find all the necessary documents. That cost manhours and nearly brought the state to a halt. The state was not functioning as it should. As soon as ethics suits were dismissed more were filed. The only way to free the state was to resign.

Never trust anyone that will not relinquish power for the good of the people.
