The elites are trying to bully us into submission and vote for their chosen candidate.

I dunno.

There’s a streak of rebel in the Palin brigades.

Absolutely. Not violent, we’re not commie union thugs. But rebellious? You betcha. :)

I would rather be in the Palin cult than the Obama cult where you follow a Howdy Doody look-a-like off a cliff.

I was in Indianola, IA on Saturday to witness this phenomenon for myself. I have NEVER seen anything like it. No one was paid to be there, or organize for Palin. They are not celebrity fans, but are supporters of Palin’s policies. People sacrificed, using their own, hard-earned money to travel from all over the country, just to hear what she had to say in Indianaola. I met scores of ordinary working people, who were never previously involved in politics. People who got off the couch and will do everything it takes to convince Palin to run and see her through to victory.

Dirty little secret: Most of the people saying that are just upset that Palin supporters won’t bow down to their favorite candidates.

They call us “Cult members” to marginalize us..because they don’t like her and don’t want her to have any possible shot at getting the GOP nomination. They have their personal favorites and they know if she gets in, she has a great chance of winning. I mean when you look at it, if she runs, what’s the big deal right, if supposedly she has no chance of winning why not have her run, and if she loses she loses..she won’t get out of the primary if that is the case..but NO, they don’t even want her to run, why, not because they don’t think she stands a chance, because they know she does..that’s what freaks them out. They are just as terrified of her as the left are, different reasons, but same kind of smear job tactics

The elite are in for another pointed surprise come 2012.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE AWAKE, and are not going to be cowed or bullied. Change is coming alright...but it a change back to the foundational principles that defined this nation and its liberty and free market.

The establishment considers us heretics. john mccain tried to compare us to hobbits...not considering that without the hobbits, the war would have been lost. I AM a heretic. I escaped the bonds of the republican party hacks and good old boy network and I am damned proud of it.

A “cult” is a heretical religious group, straying from the sound doctrine of the orthodox mainstream.

Like most words, "cult" has more than one meaning and common usage. It can also be: "great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work (as a book or film)..."

Not saying there is a "Palin cult", but there could be as there could be a cult surrounding other political figures. I just refer to her "ardent supporters" which is accurate and not uncomplimentary as cult and Palinistas would be to many.

We also heard frequent use of "Peronistas" during the 1992 campaign. I don't think such terms try to tag someone as socialists, but merely as fanatic followers of some person or movement.

Then there are those of us who are not anti-Sarah, but if we bring up what we think are honest issues or concerns or that if we just happen to like another politician, are relentlessly attacked by certain Palin supporters, who claim to be part of Middle America.

Keep in mind, not all of us who are Perry supporters, hate Palin.

Hey, if Sarah Palin runs, she gets some of my money and my vote. If she decides to not run, some one else will get my vote and no money until I see what they are about. Is this to difficult to understand? I guess it is to all the press, perry, romney, paul, etc... /bots! Go Sarah!

If there is a Palin cult, it’s fair to say there is an Obama cult, a Romney cult, a Perry cult and so forth.
