I believe that these comments were made by Hoffa after Obama or his advisors told Hoffa to make these comments to prevent Palin's speech on Saturday from getting any more attention. Even on talk radio, Palin's speech wasn't covered as much, because of Hoffa's comments. Secondly, Obama spoke privately about how he was annoyed that Palin's Facebook postings attracted so much attention, so Obama clearly would not have wanted her speech on Saturday to be a big topic through out the week. Thirdly, Obama tried to schedule his speech when the Republicans were going to be having a debate this week. I think this was planned.
It still didn’t have a thing to do with Palin speaking at a Tea Party.
They don’t attract the same people. Both spoke to attract their own side.
Most people didn’t see any of this on TV. They are seeing it all now after the fact.
Which means that with the advent of the internet, it is hard to deflect attention away from anyone anymore.
It had to do with Obama not wanting Palin’s speech to get attention. He complained about the attention that her Facebook postings received. Conservative hosts also didn’t talk about Palin’s speech as much as they would have if this didn’t happen. Palin’s speech could have been covered more by the media.
That makes total sense.
I’ll just ignore these guys from now on.
thnx for your insight.
What did you hear the most about on the news Monday night and all day Tuesday? Hoffa/Obama/Biden or Palin?
Hoffa needs to follow in his father’s later year footsteps...
