Announcing it's "not her lucky day," a federal judge in Washington, D.C., has told an eligibility attorney he has dismissed her case demanding information from the Social Security Administration regarding President Barack Obama's Social Security Number, sought because of suspicions it may be fraudulent.
The case was filed by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has battled many of the major court challenges to Obama's tenure in office based on a lack of evidence that he qualifies under the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural-born citizen."
The case at hand was filed against the Social Security Administration because of evidence that Obama's number was designated for use in Connecticut, when Obama has claimed he grew up in Hawaii and apparently had a Social Security Number there, as he reported he worked in an ice-cream shop then.
There has been no evidence he ever lived in Connecticut, and investigators have described the circumstances as suspicious.
The judge, Royce Lamberth credits Taitz for her dedication to her cause, but boasted that "today is not her lucky day."
He concluded that there's no real interest in determining whether the Obama Social Security Number is genuine or fraudulent, and the need for secrecy for the president trumps all else.
"The SSA explained that the Privacy Act of 1974 ... protects the personal information of social security number holders," he wrote. "The SSA determined ... the plaintiff had identified no public interest that would be served by disclosure."

I’m surprised it took so long for this old news to show up. ;-)
Oh, well if it’s been almost 50 years.....
I don't know that BO has multiple SS numbers. Neither do you. All we know is that Orly and her fellow Brithers/Truthers have made that claim. To save time, I'll go ahead and make you next few replies for you:
Birther: "But we have to find out truth." (stomps foot) You whine petulantly.
Pilsner: Fine. The Republicans the control the House. Have them subpoena the records. Congress clearly has the right under the statute to access social security records.
Birther:"But the Republicans won't do that because they are part of the CONSPIRACY."You wail.
Pilsner: Oh well, you can't always get what you want. Perhaps, instead of pursuing courses of action absolutely, positively, doomed to failure, you might consider doing something useful, like trying to win an election?
Birther: NO!(stomps foot twice) Orly will save us. She'll prove that BO is an illegal alien, because he was born in Kenya, and that he lost his citizenship when he moved to Indonesia, and that he had 273 different social security numbers, and that he LIED about how many Gold Stars he got in kindergarten and... and on and on and on, ad nauseum.
well, I don’t know how good a dentist she is, but she simply has to be a better dentist than a lawyer, right? Otherwise, the records of her practice would be littered with dead patients.
“That gets in the way of a good rant.”
Yep. At this point, this stuff is so obviously silly and sad that it boggles the mind.
I’m sure that she is better than you at just about anything, you silly old boy!
If our experiment in self-government survives the communists embedded here in Free Republic and every other cultural institution of significance, Orly will be know as a great and brave heroine.
Those who mock Orly deserve to have every tooth slowly rot out of their heads from rampant caries, May they be afflicted with rampant periodontal disease, and spend many sleepless nights walking the floor in acute , level 10, pain. May the organisms that infect their mouths inflame their coronary arteries, lay plaques in their cerebral vessels, and cause them to have mini-strokes and Alzheimer's in their later years.
Oh brother, he quotes the so-called Privacy Act?? Has this guy ever tried to get cable or write a check? Talk about a crock of it. What a bunch of freakin' arrogant bastards our Rulers are. How about this one, Judge: my kids came home from the first day of school yesterday with a paper informing me that the state Dept of Edumakashin was now requiring SSNs of each student. Not even a lame attempt at an explanation of why, I might add. Into the circular file it went, needless to say, but should they come asking about it I'll be sure to quote Royce Lamberth that "no public interest" would be served by disclosure of SSNs of my elementary age children.
Are you ready to try your hand at some dentistry?
I bet you can have somewhat better success with dentistry than Taitz has with law.
Actually, Dr. Taitz is a very good lawyer who is doing a wonderful job of keeping this issue alive. Who else is putting any pressure at all on Obama to cough up his records and stuff??? Every time she loses IN COURT, she wins something in the COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION, which is where it really matters. I have told the Obotski this about a million times and they still don’t get it. I hope people here are quicker learners.
Thank you.
That was a very good laugh. Almost made me fizz up my soda.
If that makes you feel better, go ahead and believe it I guess. But it's nonsense.
“If our experiment in self-government survives the communists embedded here in Free Republic and every other cultural institution of significance, Orly will be know as a great and brave heroine.”
Our noble experiment in self government will survive the fevered fantasies of your imagination. Orly will have nothing to do with it. She will serve as a source of comedy for the time being, then be quickly forgotten.
If you don't believe that communists are deeply embedded in every cultural institution of significance then you likely believe Tinker Bell when she says, “Clap!”
They get it very well. They are not stupid. Personally, I don't think they believe a word they post.
But,...Hey! They have to keep their jobs and paychecks coming from the DNC and Department of Justice. It's a tough a economy and a job as a disinformation specialist puts food in the mouth, numbs the conscience, and withers the soul. They are past feeling.
Admit it, you are jealous of her hair.
I know that I wish I could pull off that kind of coiffure.
