He is worth it or he wouldn't get it. Colleges increasingly run spread offenses which don't prepare QBs for a pro-style offense. Halfway decent NFL QBs are actually pretty rare. That's why a talent like Andrew Luck who runs a pro-style offense in college and does it very well will get a fortune when he comes out next year. And that's why Vick just got the Brinks truck backed up in his driveway - he's a special talent who can change games when he's healthy.
