I don’t think Oklahoma allows recall of Senators. You’ll have to get them to primary that infamous arch-RINO Jim Inhofe.

I guess you don’t know what a source is, Mestup. Youtube is not a source, and in the brief interview he give, he nowhere promised what you say. Why don’t you listen to it before you post it...or are you hoping someone else will interpret it for you? Good grief. Ni-nite!

especially one who signed up at FR shortly after the purge of Giuliani supporters.

It reminds me of how many Pat Buchanan types from the past are now gung-ho Ron Paul supporters.

People with 18-month records (other than local politics) don’t tend to have as many negatives as someone who served their state for over two decades,

This is the mirror image of the problem that Democrats had with Barack Obama. He was the perfect embodiment of leftist core values, and was utterly untested. He failed. The 40 year reign of the Democrats that they crowed about in 2008 didn't even last 40 months. Now the Democrats are in ruin, and their Dear Leader is dead weight.

It's a cautionary tale to anyone that values ideological purity over measurable experience. It applies to us as well as the left.

You and me both. My two teenage kids couldn't buy a job this summer. But every McDonald's and Wendy's within 10 miles is full of Mexican workers.

Setting aside the other issues, there is another reason why employers might not be interested in hiring your kids, and it's not because they're not great kids who would work hard and do well, but sometimes just because the cost of hiring and training a new employee is significant and if you hire someone who's just going to be there for the summer, you already know that you're going to have to hire someone else in a few months to replace the first person when they leave to go back to school.

In other words, from the perspective of some employers, it'll cost them twice as much to hire and train your kids, and at the end of the day they'll still end up with whomever they have to hire to replace your kids when they go back to school. So why not cut out the middle man, save yourself the extra costs, and just hire the person you're going to end up with in the first place.

For an employer who's already running on a slim profit margin, that added hiring expense can effectively mean that it costs the business more to hire your kid, and then hire her or his replacement, than the employer will earn from your kid's hard work (and I do believe that you've raised your kids right and that they earn every penny they work for). Businesses don't usually last long if they run at a net loss, so if the businesses in question have really slim profit margins right now (and a lot do, I think, considering the Obama Depression), they might very well not be willing to hire kids who will just be there for the summer.

Again, please don't take it personally, because I am not trying to attack your kids in the least.

Since no university has unlimited capacity, and given that most state universities in Texas are operating at full capacity, every ILLEGAL student admitted is taking the place that should be occupied by a legal student. Given that the earning capacity of a college graduate is considerable higher over a lifetime than that of a non-graduate, by admitting illegals the schools are in essence restricting the legal student’s financial advancement and promoting that of the illegal student.
What part of ILLEGAL do liberals not understand. I love it when they say they are going to restrict legal action and deportation to those who have committed a crime... HELLO being here illegally IS a crime !! How long do you think you or a Central American would last in Mexico illegally?

Like I said Sarah has over 20 years in politics + she was a governor with power unlike Perry who has none. T-paw had a lower unemployment rate then Perry.

You’re talking about two different things. One, the “promise” he supposedly made that he would serve all four years as governor; the other, that he agrees illegals that serve in the US MILITARY, fighting for our country, should be able to work towards citizenship. The alleged “promise” has yet to be sources. The illegals in the military things no one argues.

Fair enough. I understand, I have an engineering background, I drive a cement truck now. You do what you have to do......kids need to get off their butts and realize those jobs, good paying jobs, will go to those that will work 12-14 hours a day. This is not 1950....

Do YOU not know what a source is? Are you saying that a CNN/fox whatever news clip on You Tube is not legit as it is not a ‘Source”

You are either a liar or have comprehension issues. Factual info is factual info whether it comes from FR or Walt Disney. You Tube has been the “Source” of many litigated cases so I think if the US courts consider it a legit ‘source’ of information in lawsuits, their definition is somewhat more credible than yours.

And don’t think we didn’t notice how you have steered the discussion away from Perry, his issues and your support of Illegals.

Since we're being all pleasant and non-insulting to each other: and then she just up and quit when her ticket didn't get her to the White House.

Sorry to burst your bubble.

Here's another one.

More than 20,000 non-citizens are on active duty in the U.S. armed forces. Dozens of U.S. immigrant soldiers have died in Iraq. Immigrants have braved the battlefields of war since the dawn of America. And, they’ve held their own. Immigrants have earned more than 20 percent of the 3,406 Congressional Medals of Honor, according to the National Immigration Law Center. The U.S. government re-paid this commitment in 2002, when President Bush signed an executive order allowing immigrant soldiers to apply for citizenship as soon as they enlist. They previously had to wait three years.

I do understand what you're saying. Right out of college before landing in a job in my field, I did the fast food management gig for two years. Managing labor cost is a never-ending battle. The difference between then (mid '80s) and now was that you had housewives who wanted a five or six hour shift who held those jobs and were there for years. They were usually gems. But to see people who can't string an English sentence together is just galling.

Most out-of- staters don't realize it, but in Columbus, we are swimming in illegals...over 100,000 in the metro at best estimate.

They've gotta take their hate for Israel somewhere.

Of note, not only would this particular Perry supporter vote for pro-abortion, pro-gay and anti-Second Amendment candidate Rudy Giuliani as you can see HERE but she thinks Rudy Giuliani is a conservative. That explains why she doesn't care that RINO Rick is liberal on many issues. It also lends credence to my theory that she is one of the many Rudy supporters who were purged from FR back in 2007.

“HELLO being here illegally IS a crime !!”

Yup, Bottom line.

That should be the ONLY argument we make. Do not let libs get past it. We should never let them argue anything untill they address that FACT.
EVERYTHING they do here is a crime. EVERYTHING!
