Petty Officer Jon T. Tumilson was laid to rest Friday in Rockford, Iowa, where an estimated 1,500 mourners came to pay respects for the fallen Navy SEAL, including his dog Hawkeye. In fact, Hakeyes loyalty to his owner at the funeral was visible, creating a heart-wrenching image as he laid down by the casket of his owner during the entire service:

Oh how I pray we remove the internal enemey from the reigns of power in our nation. God grant that we are wise enough, strong enough, and numerous enough to overcome all the wiles, evil and manipulations of the enemy to do so.
One thing about it, they sure know how to show love and loyalty. What a handsome and apparently fine young man.

One such dog was portrayed in the movie, Hachi: a Dogs Tale. Based on a true story of a dog, who waited the rest of his life for his deceased master to return. This was the saddest movie I ever saw.
