They will be near the caldera around 9:00pm Local time. Truly amazing stuff and as it approaches the caldera things should heat up....lol!

Yeah....it's important stuff. Liken it to a space shuttle launch or anything other science related.
A suspected eruption occurred a few months ago and when it gets there tonight it will be the world's first look.
Why is that important?
Cause it sits smack tab in the zone called the Juan de Fuca plate. Why is this plate important? It will be this plate that would cause a catastrophic earthquake in Washington or Oregon.

Yeah...this is the Juan de Fuca plate. The geological history of this area is astounding and packed with turmoil...lol~

Actually kind of interesting that the deep sea explorers prefer these remote expeditions to going themselves.
The big difference between this and space is the fact that they can operate the ROVs in real time on the seafloor.
