Falstaff deserved to die. That was the nastiest beer on the planet! That's only because there is doubt as to whether Naty Bo can actually be classified as 'beer'.

Falstaff, the Thirst Slacker, as Ol’ Diz used to say (Pee Wee too).
Back in the 60s I was killing time in a bar one afternoon with some buddies. A beer distributor walked in and offered free Falstaffs (as much as you could drink while he was there) to the patrons. As a poor college student, I didn’t turn him down, but one fellow refused to drink the free beer—for good reason. Yecchhh!

I’ll bet you never had a delightful Hulls Export. The joke was that the government made them export it

Among widely distributed beers, I would suggest Piels or Schmidts. In a league of their own were Break Beer and Koch's Holiday Ale.

Falstaff deserved to die. That was the nastiest beer on the planet! Remember the generic beer in the early 80s with just a white can and a black lettered "BEER" on it. Those were manufactured by Falstaff and tasted like you had bought a case of Falstaff and left it in the trunk of your car for a week. Talk about wretched!

That was the nastiest beer on the planet!I dunno about that. Might go to Nasty-Gansett....another beer mentioned in the article. Geez, who would be nostalgic for that swill?
