Funny you should say this, because I've been thinking about buying a domain name to start pushing for a taxpayer appreciation day, not only for the welfare loafers, but also for the government workers that receive their paycheck and benefits as a result of taxpayer dollars. i wonder how far that would get?

That’s a terrific idea. All it would take would be to get a couple of congressmen and /or senators on board and it might gain some traction.

I just googled “taxpayer appreciation day” and got a zillion hits. Obviously, a lot of people have come up with similar ideas. Even that assclown Ralph Nader tried to pervert the phrase by aiming it at the evil corporations.

I think what would be best would be an actual bill introduced in Congress... of course, the arts would insist that if such a day was offically named, government “workers” should get it as another paid holiday.
