The word “advocate”
It means to promote :http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/advocate
So an example Devil’s advocate position would be for me to live in New York City on Wall Street during economic economic Armageddon to get in on the ground floor.
Devils advocate doesn’t point out flaws unless it is to advance an alternative.
So what is the alternative.
Devil's advocate points out flaws and lets you find an alternative.
Why would the Devil help you?
But that behind, I'm trying to offer insights and alternatives on certain points, such as shelter.
I'm not trying to give you an alternative for the whole. I think you already have a good plan.
All I'm trying to do is tweak some points to make them better, or point out some weaknesses I see. I may, or may not have an alternative off the top of my head.
