Don’t know why, but always had a soft spot for Mike Post’s “Greatest American Hero”

Odd because cheesy theme songs were pretty common to that era. The 6 million dollar man and an entire string section working themselves into a furious lather, the night rider theme with its “new toy” (and infinitely cheaper than a furious, union, string section) synthesizer, or the equally inexpensive hill street blues.

Memorable all though, if for no other reason than repetition

I am either the first serious responder to this thread topic, or else I am the only one to have actually watched television. The theme song to “Firefly” is so obviously the correct response that, having been now given, the subject can be considered safely and firmly settled and the thread closed.
