That unnecessary apostrophe crap drives me nuts, too. The apostrophe "fad" is just a few years old. For some damn reason, illiterate morons just suddenly started using apostrophes at the end of every other word. I don't get it.
Which apostrophe are you complaining about? Rep’s? Perhaps you’ve heard of a contraction. I belivee the poster used a contraction for Representatives, which is incorrect in its own right as we are discussing the Senate. If you’re going to be an English Nazi, consider all usage cases.
