"The Undefeated," the documentary about Sarah Palin, appears to have suffered box office defeat.
The film opened in 10 locations last week and upped its exposure to 14 cities this weekend. But Reuters today reports that even as the number of screening venues increased, box office revenue has declined by more than 63 percent. It grossed only $24,000 this past weekend.

What say ye, Palin worshippers? Ronald Reagan never had a movie do this poorly.
Politics is not the usual reason for going to the theatre.
Is that how you attack the conservative Christian base, claim they worship a candidate?
Setting up popcorn concession as we speak...
Back to your hole!
There you go again Patrick. With the Reagan/Palin comparisons.
A film opening on 10 screens will NEVER make much money. Even Reagan’s movies opened on thousands of screens in the 40s and 50s. As much as I loved the guy, I never really cared for his movies. He never acheived A-list status, despite working regularly.
I missed the movie that came out when Reagan first ran for President, after being governor of California.
Hey where’s Squidward, Patrick?
I personally have never been interested in the film but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t happily vote for Palin if she becomes the nominee.
Who wants to go to a movie theater? I would rather stay home and watch prerecorded movies on my wide screen high definition TV. There are bed bugs in some movie theaters in addition to the slobs who talk during the movies.
Twenty-four. I heard on here for a month how great this film was doing. But now Reuters says, not so fast my friend.
What is the story? Have those who bow at the feet of the two year governor become the conservative version of MSNBC?
What is the truth?
It’s not really HER movie.
She’s just the subject of it.
not everyone lives in a large metropolitan area where they are showing the movie
The messenger gets his/her news from yahoo.com...I can’t stop laughing!
Half the people in the country think they “hate” sarah Palin because the mass media made her out to be a fool. None of that is true, but they were successful and we know this. If I were in a group of upwardly mobile people in my city, 99% libs, and said I was voting for Palin or supporting her for the Presidency they would laugh and laugh and laugh.
So those people and the many others who want those people to like them are NEVER going to pay money to see anything about Sarah Palin.
Also, people go to movies to escape their lives for an hour or two. Most documentaries do not fit the bill.
The only way Sarah’s movie can change hearts and minds is if it were free, easily found on TV in the evening. Period. Obama had a whole channel around the time of his election. Methinks Palin needs something like this.
If she thought for one second that her film would do great with the general public, against Harry Potter and Captain America, then she must be deciding not to run — she must be in total denial. I hope she was realistic, that until it’s free and nearly unavoidable, it won’t be able to counteract the media’s false characterization of her. I hope this was released for her fans only, and she still has plans to help turn this country around.
Victory Film Group has announced that four additional cities will be hosting "The Undefeated" starting Friday, July 29th. They are as follows: Charleston, SC Cincinnati, OH Columbus, OH Salt Lake City, UT
The truth is 12 posts in you are still an idiot.
I doubt that you really want the truth since your second sentence is an outright lie. It was released ten days ago, so how is it you’ve heard for a month how great the film was doing?
