Webster's 1828 Dictionary defines "blood" thus.

BLOOD

Well, imagine that! Both Noah Webster and I see that verse in exactly the same way.

So, by your reckoning, Webster and I are both deficient in understanding plain English.

The only Scripture that existed at that time was the Scripture that Yehoshua/Jesus used. The Tanach/Old Testament. Everything else has been ADDED and the Old Testament warned about ADDING to it.
