Senator Nelson,
We're writing asking that you side with the American people and NOT let anyone raise the debt ceiling without cutting deeply into the current budget. We know all the social security money is already spent on keeping entitlements going. I know some of those people who live off the government. They have nicer cell phones than I do, have their nails done every week, which I don't and drive new cars, which we never do.
My husband Shawn sits next to you many times on the Midwest fight to & from Omaha. He says you seem like a decent guy, which makes us both wonder how you can be involved in a party that is so pro-abortion (wants abortions up to 9 months) anti-god (the left sues every chance they get) and pro-homosexual marriage (saying we are hateful and intolerant when we are just following the bible)They are also forcing kindergartners to learn about gay in California. Does that make you proud of your party?
We see Obama/Holder... giving guns to the cartel, Nicaragua, saying it was to catch them, but they did not tag them, so we know they had other motives in mind. It's scary to think what they might be. They won’t answer questions or allow others to answer questions to those investigating it. We all know Obama has questionable intentions for this country, turn it into a socialist country. Maybe it’s time to stand up to him, if not for my kids and grandkids, but for your own. Do you really think what the left does and believes is right?
Please don't vote with Obama on this debt ceiling increase. If he gets the debt ceiling raised now, he knows it's like putting tape on a dam that is breaking. That means if we don't cut things NOW, the economy will eventually collapse. Do you really want that? Do what you know is right and stand up for good and not evil. One day we will all have to answer for our decisions. You can make up for past mistakes if you speak up to Obama. We’ll be praying for you.

That was hilarious. On the other hand, it brought to mind our political leadership’s reaction to honest and determined citizenry.
