This live thread will cover the Orange County (FL) investigators' news conference today on the Caylee Anthony case. It is set to start at 1:30 p.m. EST. It was reported that it is being held due to intense public demand for information on this case. The participants will include: 1. Sgt. Allen 2. Det. Melich 3. CSI Bloise (forensics) 4. Dep. Forgy (K-9 handler) 4. Dep. Osbourne (computer specialist: chloroform)

While we are sitting here waiting for this to start, I just thought I'd pass along that the HLN newsgals just said Juror #11 suggested that the "jury" even thought perhaps George Anthony was the killer.

IMO, even dumber than the O.J. bunch, if that is possible. At least they have the excuse of jury nullification.

This Juror #11 is some kind of fruit cake..he is just throwing garbage around because he wants people to take the blame off of them. First he says that that the verdict made him “Sick to his stomach”(Yeah me too, I think it made us all sick!) and now this..no wonder this jury acquitted, a bunch of brain dead morons they all are. This case was lost during the jury pool process, the defense made sure to put a bunch of fools on the jury

It is absolutely unreasonable that this jury couldn’t convict Casey Anthony of a darn thing except lying, supposedly because the evidence wasn’t strong enough, YET they believe that George Anthony may have done it with nothing more than the allegations of a woman who couldn’t tell the truth if she tried. Simply astounding. And these people vote.

I also have on HLN and they said a number of times earlier this morning that they would carry this news conference live. They said 1:30, so I assume that is EST. I'm in Cali so I put the thread up now. Either they are running late, they changed the time, or HLN decided not to air it live.

In any event, I will post anything I do hear about this here and I hope others do the same. Maybe another station will carry? I'm not sure what is going on with the HLN people. (But I'm annoyed!)

MSNBC is monitoring it and showed it briefly right now. They just cut to a commercial and said they'd come back to it.

And that is why the defense wanted these people on the jury. The state made a huge mistake not getting a jury consultant, if they had some of these morons would NEVER have been allowed on the jury. They have no idea what the difference is between reasonable doubt and just plain ol common sense. You can go outside in the morning, see your newspaper is wet, see your car is wet, but you see no rain, does that mean it did NOT rain? To those jurors they would have said it never rained since they did not see it actually happen
