I was thinking the same thing.
I did not watch the trial but was there any evidence that she harmed her child other than her attitude and behavior after her daughter disappeared.
In my heart I feel she is responsible for that child’s death.
Well, let's see, she was the last one to see the child. She didn't report the child missing - EVER (it was the grandmother who reported it). She partied and got a tattoo after she admittedly knew the child was already missing. She lied repeatedly to parents, friends, police about what happened to the child. She set up a fake back-story about her supposed nanny, going so far as to get a name from an apartment visit card that she could blame for the whole thing.
Oh, and the CHILD IS DEAD, found within a quarter-mile of the mother's home.
The prosecution was going to show the jury the DVD of Casey actually committing the crime, but it was already checked out on Netflix.
This was not the behavior of a woman who feared for her daughter's life or who was distraught over her daughter's accidental death in a swimming pool. This was a woman who knew her daughter was dead and was happy about it. Guilty - case closed.
Absolutely there was such evidence. Someone from the Anthony household was clearly responsible, since the items found with Caylee’s body were traced back to the Anthony home. So it was a matter of deciding whether which Anthony it was. I thought that was clear as a bell.
