I did not watch the trial but was there any evidence that she harmed her child other than her attitude and behavior after her daughter disappeared.

Well, let's see, she was the last one to see the child. She didn't report the child missing - EVER (it was the grandmother who reported it). She partied and got a tattoo after she admittedly knew the child was already missing. She lied repeatedly to parents, friends, police about what happened to the child. She set up a fake back-story about her supposed nanny, going so far as to get a name from an apartment visit card that she could blame for the whole thing.

Oh, and the CHILD IS DEAD, found within a quarter-mile of the mother's home.

The prosecution was going to show the jury the DVD of Casey actually committing the crime, but it was already checked out on Netflix.

This was not the behavior of a woman who feared for her daughter's life or who was distraught over her daughter's accidental death in a swimming pool. This was a woman who knew her daughter was dead and was happy about it. Guilty - case closed.

Pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?

When I hear the O.J. jurors repeatedly say, "I wasn't there, so I don't know what happened," I thought it was bad. This is even worse.

There are always repercussions with a seriously dumbed-down, lazy society that digs in its heels and refuses to fire up the brain cells. Repercussions like President Dithers and a verdict like this.

Expect many more.

Thank you for enlightening me....I appreciate it...

I cannot believe the jury came to that conclusion with that information....I want to know why they came to that conclusion......

I was listening to someone on the radio discussing this and they thought it was because the prosecution was going for the death penalty....was that the only option the jury had.....I am not a legal mind and would love to know...

She should be put out in general population prison and let the her fellow inmates sort it out......
