A child is dead, last seen with the mother, decomp found in her car, child thrown away in items from her home, instead of calling to alert police to an accident she hides it for a month, and only tells then because she has to. Further yet, she never shows one ounce of fear, or pain, or concern during that time. when given the chance to tell it was an accident she lies to the extent that this becomes a national story. That is why this became so well known - not because a child was missing, that happens all the time it was her actions afterwards. No one could believe any mother anywhere could continue lie after lie after lie.
The only reason she got off is because the body wasn't found in time to determine if she chloroformed the baby, broke her neck, as she investigated ways to do on her computer, or if she died by accident.
There is no doubt she was last seen with her mother then was dead and no explanation in between. Any adult with sense could put those things together without a video proving it

Evidently you are displaying too much commonsense for Hannity and a few people here on FR.
This mother didn't ever report that baby missing. The grandmother did.
Anyone who had a 2 yr old missing for 10 minutes would call 911.
But the prosecution didnt did they. The prosecutor himself admitted that they couldnt prove that it was actually a murder. The prosecution could have either tried to prove murder or accident but not both. They stressed murder but couldnt prove even cause of death. They tied the hands of the jury by trying to prove murder or homicide but didnt have enough evidence to prove it wasnt an accident. Thus the dilemma of the jury which put them in a box of having to decide beyond a reasonable doubt that a murder was committed which even the prosecutor admitted they couldnt prove.
The only thing that I’d add to your summary of the evidence is that the mother never came home during the 31 days that the child was not reported missing. There was always some phony excuse — at the nanny’s, at the beach, at tony’s, etc. ad nauseum.
..and that falls directly in Casey's lap for her lies which diverted the authorities onto wild goose chases.
