Good Morning to all, and Happy Independence Day.
There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
You Are you r-e-a-l-l-y going to pull the race card for this this trial????....
People who make such claims fuel animosities which either no longer exist for most, or others might yet harbor beneath the surface ..yet abiding by our laws. Are you fueling that today? It sure looks so to me..... Shame! I won't play that racism game...and I hope to God nobody else will.
Further you are way off base in how Judge Perry has conducted this trial...let alone his body language. He is no doubt quite aware this is a death penalty trial and what is at stake, to think otherwise is nonsense.
The trial is about truth and discovering where that lays...obviously Casey herself is certainly not a bearer of truth by the overwhelming evidence, and witness of many...most profoundly at her own mouth. The Judge has done an outstanding job in overseeing that the focus remains where it needs to be to discover that truth.
People who have a child die by accident do not create a 'story of murder' to cover the accident...that's important to think about and ponder. Furthermore... Mothers don't put tape over a child's mouth when they die or under ANY circumstances...... and they sure don't knock them out with chloroform.... They don't park their cars near dumpsters to mask the odor of a decomposing body...nor do they throw their body into a swamp...to cover an accident????? and you don't' treat your beloved child's body like a sack of corn thrown into a field....ever!
This isn't about a "sideshow for people to gawk at"....many in the courtroom are student's of law, attorney's and other interested parties of the case.. and the like. As for the TV viewing audience...I don't recall Casey's attorney or Casey disagreeing this NOT be aired in full view of the audience. They're both making money from this being aired.
Aha! So the carping is even worse than I originally thought! Thank you, whyever it is you’re in PA. ;)
Oh that's all too funny! lololol
Excuse me, that's now the second time you've said that. Did it ever dawn on you that we might enjoy chatting? Some of us have known each other for years.
So if you are so disturbed about us being here, why not leave?
I cooked dinner too, watched some tv. Why are you so worried about our lives?
Sure - almost everyone on this thread knows she is guilty - three or four attention seekers who admit they haven’t watched the trial say no.
Yeah, it really was a long time ago. And we are back in Texas where we belong, thanks!!
The smart people all know she's guilty.
“”and the ADAs and judge in the case.””
Then you are the PERFECT one to answer my question. None of us have found the right answer here yet.
WHY are the prosecutors referred to as “state’s attorneys” and not Deputy or Assistant DA’s???? We all know the state brings the charges but we can’t figure out why we don’t hear the prosecution referred to as being from the OC District Attorney’s office!!! Is State’s Attorneys and not DA’s common to FL???
LOL- yep- same guy. Tim Miller.
I tell you what- I’m up to here with Nacy Grace. She really drives me nuts and it’s hard to believe she has as many fans as she apparently does. She’s grating, dismissive, rude and shrill. Worse- not even that bright! And yet- because I’ve suddenl;y gotten hooked on this I’m watching her before going over to neighbor’s for fireworks!
ah... well that figures.
I wonder why the defense didn’t try to pin it on a boyfriend. That red herring would have been easier for me to swallow than the ex-cop grandfather...
“”The smart people all know she’s guilty.””
Good one - LOL. You’re feeling pretty frisky after or during your 4th celebration?? Be careful when it’s over, you’ll have all that housework to do.
and the prosecution did their job and proved she is guilty of 1st degree murder.
PRE law is in for a huge wake up when a judge jerks a knot in her butt.
My best friend’s father is Fed judge and our business is across the street from the Fed courthouse. I’ve probably learned more from them than PRE law ever will. lol...
Nothing makes me madder than that assumption that WE must regard her as innocent before the jury decides.
But it’s another one of those ideas that work their way into the culture- a legend with no basis in fact.
I know, and I haven't even started drinking yet. Wait until I've had a couple of Margaritas...
Well the trial IS over you know...the proof's been laid right out there 'to the discerning eye.' But then since you appear to be in pre-law, which I highly doubt or you couldn't be making some of the asinine comments you're making...you might want to re-consider for another vocation.
Again, you have nothing to base that on.
He has ruled unfairly against the defense several times.
You need to back that up with specifics. As in sports, each team believes the umpire/referee has made bad calls in the other team's favor. I don't recall any bias this judge has shown towards one side over the other. You'll need to be less general in that regards.
