Good Morning to all, and Happy Independence Day.
There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.
Court is starting early today at 8:30 a.m.
The countdown for justice for Caylee begins.
I was always a fan of the death penalty until recently when it has come out that many prosecutors are corrupt and police lie on the stand.....makes me think twice before I say its a death penalty case...IE: the Duke rape case is the first that comes to mind of corrupt and politically motivated prosecutors..
Oh, dear god. I am out on the missile range, working 12/7’s , to protect YOUR kid - and the MRS> GRUNDY wing of FR decides my voice is not worth hearing.
Well, tart off. Go sit on the trinity site untill you glow in the dark.
Excellent putdown!
It was discussed on FOX and they said that since they are victims of the crime due to their family relationship with Caylee they are given special privileges and rights that allow them to witness the entire trial and testify. Don’t know it that is only in Florida or not.
You know what? That IS a really good question. Maybe someone who knows about criminal law can provide the answer.
There are good attorneys and there are bad ones...but as you note the truth did come out. So not exactly a good arguement.
Yeah, ladies, excellent put down. Thanks. You have proven your character.
But why? Because my 30 years of service is not up to your standards?
Except there have been quite a few cases where DNA has exonerated some prisoner after spending many years in prison. I think one was ever released from death row due to the ability of science to bring up new evidence..I quit being naive about the courts. As you say many are good, but too many suck eggs and love politics.
see my post # 804
If she received $200k and paid Baez $89k, what did she do to the rest of the $111k?
Taxs silly
In that same vein, my daughter took the day off from studying for the bar and this is the only day she got to watch.
She watched with different eyes as she was really looking at the summation presentation and strategy but it was fun texting back and forth this morning and watching it "together".(Can you tell I haven't been able to spend much time with her these last few months and this was a treat? :D)
Bravo to your entire post.
As bad as her eyes are, her mouth is even worse! It holds all the tension and hate within her. As someone wrote, that mouth makes her look like an angry guppy.
Time for shower etc. so am off here for a time...putting together a few last minute things before the grills fired up... and the lights fill the skies with great celebration for the biggest birthday party of the year!
Happy Birthday America!!!!! and all you great freepers.... From sea to shinning sea!
Checking back in a bit then...

The Mrs. Grundy remark gives me a bit of a clue - do you think Casey’s a bit of a hottie?
Thank you for that information.
“”So who is the woman that sits in front of the judge in the courtroom? What is her position and name?””
That is the Court Clerk - blonde hair. Takes and hands docs to the judge - she’s the one who calls out the evidence # when something is entered into evidence.
The Court Reporter sits to her left - I saw her for the first time today or yesterday. I had wondered where she was.
