There are also sure to be courtroom fireworks as the State gives it rebuttal and the case is expected to be sent to the jury.

You might be right. He was telling me about this around 3AM this morning. I may have even misunderstood what he was saying.
I’m having surgery in 2 weeks and am on a lot of meds and am keeping strange hours. Hopefully I misunderstood what he said because what I believe about Casey is horrible enough.
Absolutely—and in fact, I can see some real justice if she does life. She might be partying in jail now, but once she’s in one of the larger prisons, it might not be such great fun.
I’m waiting for Baez to object to the judge’s instructions to the jury.
I’d die for my son, I’d give my life for his but I wouldn’t lie for him on a witness stand in a court of law where I’d taken an oath to tell the truth before God. It would be heartbreaking- it would kill me, I’d be in agony- but still..I wouldn’t.
If you come right out and say you are not going to do your job on the jury by judging the defendant, how are you not immediately released from jury duty? Why are you not in contempt of the summons? You can get in more trouble by not showing up for jury duty than by taking up a seat during the trial and not doing your job.

The problem is, with Casey Anthony, anything is possible!
Casey, she is the only guilty party.
We are LOOOONNNNG past such fascetious statements.
I also think that George and Cindy were the main caregivers and would have noticed marks or bruises - the child was still in diapers - they would have noticed any vaginal trauma.

I will cop out on an answer though because I didn't follow the Peterson case enough.
I’ll even go so far as to say I wish the Prosecution hadn’t sought the death penalty. It must really put a cramp in the jurors’ style. My only solace is that they went for the death penalty with Scott Peterson. I just want her off the streets and not hunting down George and Cindy, lol.
Sorry, you have presumed wrong. Even Cindy thought the babysitter was a real person as Casey had been telling her that for 2 years.
Cindy even believed that Casey was out of town with Caylee when, in fact, they had never left town.
the only one that knew all the truth was Casey and she was just playing everyone else.

If the judge can throw a kid in the slammer for 6 days for flipping the bird during the trial because it could effect the outcome by swaying the jury, then wtf? Cindy Anthony should certainly be charged with perjury. If the court is going to excuse a parent for perjury, then the rules should be changed, they should be under the same directives as a spouse not having to testify against their spouse. Since there is no such law, you can’t then go out and excuse the parent for perjuring themselves to save their child.
I was pointing out that case just because he was convicted of first degree murder and sits on death row with very similar circumstantial evidence. In fact I think there is more in this case. I would never claim to be an expert - just a good comparison.

I hope the rumors are not true, too. Casey makes me sick. I am disgusted at the thought of Casey selling her daughter. She had no business taking care of a child while on drugs. What a vile human being she is! Cindy might not be the best mother, but she would have taken care of Caylee like a little princess, if Casey didn’t want her.
