You are absolutly correct - I was not at the trial, and have not seen the evidence as presented.
However - the entire duck tape thing is wrong. Put it in your arm, pull it off, you got DNA on the tape.
And it stays there, regardless of exposure to the elements.
Hence, it was applied after mortification.
Who knows what happened? I have doubts.
Where do you get this stuff. You do know ther was a TS that flooded the entire area of the body. flooded for month or so. Florida humidity and heat. yeah that DNA survived the disenigration of the adhesive and cotton.
Your doubts, since you haven’t heard the evidence presented, are irrelevant. Posters on this thread who have followed the trial in some depth say the lack on DNA on the duct tape was explained by the prosecution. Your doubts result from ignorance of the evidence.
The reason there was no DNA left on the duct tape (not even Caylee’s DNA) is that the body was exposed to the elements of summer in Florida (for SIX months) and was un water for part of that time. The elements destroyed the DNA.
