You could be right, but all the raised voice screeching about the State not having any evidence was pathetic - I hope the jury isn’t that stupid.
One thing is for sure. That little girl died at the hands of her mother. She didn’t drown and George was not involved. Cindy’s lies were no help to Casey. All that did was prove that Cindy knew her daughter was guilty. Sad part is if Cindy lied to prove to Casey that she loved her, Casey won’t care and will blame her for getting caught lying.
I don’t think the jury will be that stupid. Even if Casey doesn’t get death, the prosecution will have won if her wretched behind ends up behind bars for a long long time.
