Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.
Let me know if you want on or off the ping list.
So, what’s the verdict going to be?
Guilty of 1st degree?
Manslaughter?
Acquittal?
Hung jury?
on please
1st degree, after a couple hours of deliberation.
Coffee on, 5 more minutes to countdown.
And do you think she’ll get the death penalty?
1st degree
Gotcha. Look me 45 minutes to look through all those names!
Of July 4th weekend?

Perry: Innuendo is not evidence
One can turn to almost any TV Station (and I'm sorry to say which includes Fox) and they will be covering this trial extensively and daily.
With similar acts occurring regularly throughout the US, I'm still not certain why this particular case has garnered so much interest and publicity.
I hope Ashton gives the closing argument
Judge just rules that defense can’t use sexual abuse because there are no facts in evidence that there was any sexual abuse.
Me too! Love that guy! What a bulldog...and smart!
Not Casey. We the people and citizens of the United States are guilty of allowing a culture that produced Casey to develop over the last 30 years. Moral Relativism and PC have destroyed the culture that the legal system is based on. The culture itself has lost the ability to tell right from wrong. Regardless of the verdict it will be reversed by a higher court due to judicial misconduct and bias.
