I must be one of the few people in the US who has (intentionally) not paid any attention to this tragic event.

One can turn to almost any TV Station (and I'm sorry to say which includes Fox) and they will be covering this trial extensively and daily.

With similar acts occurring regularly throughout the US, I'm still not certain why this particular case has garnered so much interest and publicity.

The victim was attractive. The defendant's attractive. And the family's a human train wreck. If it bleeds, it leads.

I agree! I am sooo tired of the trial replacing the news on tv, especially FOXNews. Meanwhile, a plea bargain was arranged for a murder that concerns me more. Now we await sentencing.
