Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.

There are just some people who refuse to believe that a mother could murder her own children. How many people believed Susan Smith when she went on TV and said that someone carjacked her and stole her two babies..how many people believed that someone shot Diane Down’s children for no reason but barely left a scratch on Down’s herself..some people just refuse to see the truth, sometimes the truth is easier to see then making up a whole bunch of excuses for that person. There are probably 1 or 2 holdouts on this jury but at the end she will be convicted. Remember this, Scott Peterson with all of his good looks and charm was convicted of first degree murder here in California, one of the most liberal states, and not only was he convicted he is on death row right now, and there was less evidence against him then there is against Casey so yeah she is going down
She did not have tape around her face. It was found nearby. One small piece was stuck to her hair but after the skull fell out of the bag and rolled around on the ground according to the meter reader who found the bag of bones. Get your facts straight before you give a verdict on emotions.
So 11 days of storage fees was $500 bucks. Seems G&C are capable of figuring out how long the car had been at the yard. Wasn’t the 4th around the time Casey took one of her BF’s car and was driving it around. Took someone to the mall and got her Tat. I have never had a question about the car and storage. The decomp stench was the reason Casey ditched the CAR. Plain and simple.
Actually, I have been in a hotel for about 5 weeks...and I need to go home.
FWIW & IIRC, the kidnapping has to cross state lines or the FBI doesn’t usually get involved. I’m just curious as to what got them involved in this case. Did Casey Anthony suggest the nanny had taken Caylee out of FL? And if so, was that enough to send the Feds off on a snipe hunt? If so, I hope the DA’s office added additional charges for lying to the Feds. If the Feds, however, had another reason to get involved, I’m curious to know what it was.
You keep picking out these tiny details that no one else is focusing on and ignoring the big picture. It’s exhausting.
When Baez was showing pictures of the garbage found in the trunk, he pointed out the black fingerprint powder on a cheese wrapper. He then said something like, “They wanted to find out who cut the cheese”. I heard a stiffled laugh and the camera showed Ashton rolling his eyes and shaking his head.

If Baez didn’t try to get a plea deal for his client, just another reason to have the guy’s license yanked. But Casey Anthony strikes me as the type who’d refuse a deal, certain she could pull one over a jury.
Casey knew that car stank. She told her friend Amy that her dad must have hit an animal. She told someone else (I believe it was Lee), that a couple of squirrels climbed up inside the frame and died.
She knew.
I don’t know. You asked, that was my answer, other than that it’s as much a mystery to me as anyone.
I read somewhere (not sure if it was accurate), she turned down somethng with about a 7-10 year jail term. Who knows?
Anyone know if Casey Anthony’s been charged with lying to the Feds? I’d’ve thrown that in for good measure.
awww.......go sit in the jacuzzi and mellow out a bit. It will help you cope with the verdict.
I am willing to bet the jury finds her guilty. I think the prosecution did a good job proving premeditation. I have not listened to the whole trial, but followed along off and on during the day and listened to the lawyers and judges point out the highlights. She is done.
If Monica Lewinsky had not had the blue dress than no one believed her and thought she was a lying slut.
I just heard on HLN (Jane Valez Mitchell) that Linda Drane Burdick will be doing the rebuttal closing. I like her just fine but I hope Ashton is doing it.
Probably. She didn’t want anyone to get in and drive it.
What better way to insure a tow. NO GAS. Sure couldn’t call DADDY. Ofcourse if she had and he smelled the Car, Maybe CAYLEE would have been found sooner. I seriously doubt ole Cindy could tell him to let HER take care of CASEY THEN. His only questions would be “WHERE THE HELL IS CAYLEE”
