Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.
Let me know if you want on or off the ping list.
Well hopefully when you are a juror in a trial, the prosecution has a video of the killer in the act. LOL
hee hee.... he said “cut the cheese”
I will bet 10-1 that George divorces that lying bitch, Cindy.
To all. I have been asking and I ask again. How did George know the car was at Amscott 3 days? If you can not answer that question you can not convict. Unless you want to ignore the Constitution and rule with your emotions. Like a Liberal Democrat.
Now he’s using vulgarisms like “cut the cheese.” What a jerk. Why doesn’t he just give the jury (in the immortal words of Judge Perry) the middle finger of affection?
I don’t agree with the child sex abuse at all. I just think that the stress of being in a trial, losing your grandchild etc... could really place the two apart. I do believe Cindy lied as being the one who went online to seek out chloroform, neck breaking etc... I am sure there has had to be discussions of “where did we go wrong”. However, it could have been more like “where YOU went wrong”. I hope I am wrong but it wouldn’t surprise me.
I agree with you. I know a couple who had 4 childrem amd one was hit by a car and died. They ended up in divorce and all lives destroyed including remaining 3 children
Wouldn’t surprise me either. They’re not even sitting together in court today—the family lawyer is sitting between them.
Hey Patton.
My question is do you think she will will walk?
What do you predict the jury will do?
“...a little discipline back when Casey was a wee one might have changed everything.”
I’m not so sure about that. I’ll go along with the ‘bad seed’ theory and there was probably not much the parents could have done.
As I watch this, she is reminding me of my former daughter-in-law, whose parents didn’t know how to cope with her, either, and did the same things the Anthonys have done ... everything they could to support the psychopath. I think that’s in parents’ DNA.
These psychopaths are just actors. The know how to act sad, happy, innocent. Their whole life is one big act. And the only person they truly relate to is the character they are playing out.
Not relevent.
They are sitting separately. First time I’ve seen that.
She’s in for a big surprise.
How so. Because it does not fit?
Maybe George and Cindy really upset that Cindy could spend 15 years in jail for lying..George would be losing everything then
I’ve not heard a single legal commentator say the prosecution has not proved their case. If you’ve not seen everything admitted into evidence here (I haven’t) you have no way to say if case was proven or not. What you think you’d do if sitting on the jury is really not relevant. I know you love to play the contrarian, but stating definitively the case has not been proven is just hot air on your part.
Maybe Baez can convince the jury that Caylee climb the steps and committed suicide, to get away from the “Family”?????
Hey I don’t think they proved premed.I think she snuffed her out after the fight with her mother in a fit of anger.I really think George lied on the last day Caylee was alive.Bet she carried Caylee out from the bedroom and made pretend she was asleep.(((((Hugs))))))
The local reporters made a point of saying that George and Cindy arrived at the courthouse holing hands. Reminded me of Bill and Hillary leaving the WH after his sorta confession.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Anthonys split afterwards, either. Traumatic circumstances either bring people closer than they’ve ever been or cause permanent estrangement. This is more trauma than any of us would ever want to live through.
