Good Morning to all. Closing Arguments are today.
I apologize in advance if you were either left off today's ping list or included in error. I am not at home and forgot to forward my pinglist to my friend's house, so I've had to check some older threads and reconstruct as many names as possible. If I missed you I'm sorry.
I probably won't be able to post much on this thread, but after I am home I will keep my ear to the television/radio for the jury decision, and will ping again when I hear so we can have a discussion thread.
Let me know if you want on or off the ping list.
TX for reply. How do you think George knew the car was at Amscott for 3 days before it was towed? I have been trying to get answer. Did you see the trial today? How do you think Baez did with the jury? But no I think she is a crazy slut. Do you really think I am illogical and why...
It’s not a matter of that, I would stand for Caylee and make things fair.........this is not a little league game with one team 20 runs ahead.....this is a criminal trial....it ALL has to go correctly. Using a pic of her from high school is prejudicial. What can’t you understand about that?
Not guilty. Don’t know how the kid died, where, or when. Not slicing the young mother’s neck and watching her bleed out, because her child died under suspicios circumstances.
Granted, she looks guilty as hell - but the state hasn’t proven crap.
How do we know the father did not do it?
I have reasonable doubt. Case dismissed.
Someone up thread said he got a letter in the mail informing him it had been there for three days and was now impounded.
I have a bridge for sale....you interested?
Wow, you live in Cali and get to set off your own fireworks? I’m jealous! I haven’t seen a fireworks stand in years :(
I'm going to read a little more online about Casey's wonderful "mothering."
If that's the case, then she should be found not guilty and sentencing will not be an issue. It's important to remember that "beyond a reasonable doubt" doesn't mean with absolute certainty.
I am absolutely convinced that Casey killed her.......accident or deliberate...I lean toward deliberate. Duct tape or chloroform? Not sure.....doesn’t really matter. Guilty.
Texas A&M
Patton we are alone in our opinion. But I am on with the same wave. I have more than reasonable doubt. Look at what the Judge did today. Gave the State overnight to recover. After complaining the jury needs to end the case and go home. Judicial misconduct? Hey how come the so called judge could not see Ashtons antics? Set up? Critical thinking might not apply with all the emotions running wild. What do you think?
you DO understand that the fact that the prosecutor gets overnight to prepare his rebuttal is NOT evidence don’t you?
I have 200+ acres in the Utica Shale Formation. Word is, the signing bonus is about $1.2M, and the largest glory hole in the Marcellus is paying $120k PER DAY to the landowner.
But NY has made collecting this money illegal.
So I can’t afford your bridge.
;)
wow, your little parcel of land could pay off HUGE....I predict cuomo will have to allow some drilling to bring in some $$ to spend on his pet projects.....he has more commons sense than BHOzo....he wants to get us back on our feet so he can run for prez one day.
When you get a chance send me a FReep mail with some links to places I can read about this. Very interesting, I’d like to know more.
Pre-law isn’t a degree is it?
I heard on one of the talk radio stations, that Juror #4 will not look very often at the prosecution - and when she does, she sighs deeply, shakes her head “no”, and rolls her eyes. What a nightmare juror for the prosecution.
Thanks
Did you think the Judge, and I would expect as someone hoping to become a lawyer someday you would show a little more respect for a Judge, should have allowed them to go all night in rebuttal?
