I got married last year at 42, my wife was 39. First marriage for both of us. I never knew just how happy I could be until I met her. The big problem is the clock is ticking and my wife wants a baby. NOW. I’m sorry, but we’re just going to leave that up to God, if he decides to bless us. No matter what it was right for me to wait. I could have been married 10 years ago. But that woman turned out to be nuts and I’m sure we would have divorced.

I could be in the same boat, I'm 41 & the woman I am "scoping out" is 38. She seems great but I still want kids and I been hesitating to "make a move" because of her age. If she were even 2-3 years younger this wouldn't be an issue.

But anyhow, congratulations and best of luck to you and your wife
