HOQUIAM, Wash. – Police say a man was carrying a dead weasel when he burst into an apartment and assaulted a man in Washington state.

The victim asked, "Why are you carrying a weasel?" Police said the attacker answered, "It's not a weasel, it's a marten," then punched him in the nose and fled.

LOL...

Yeah, if you can't blow it out with a can of air... You are definitely not far away from keyboard replacement territory.

Too bad they don't make 'em as robust as they used to. Once was a time when you could literally use a garden hose to clean it out, as long as you let it dry completely before using it again.

I ran Anoreth’s mp3 player through the wash while she was here, but it started up again after 2 weeks. (She’d already bought a new, improved one!) This wouldn’t happen if she carried her things in a purse, instead of her pockets!

I have a couple of USB flash drives that have frequent flyer cards with our washing machine. I’m pretty good about keeping my iPod out of the laundry though...

I have a couple of keyboards on order for work...they have bright yellow keys and HUGE lettering so I can read them. I'm quite sure that once I install them, nobody is gonna rip 'em off.

I can’t wait to see them, they’re due in the UPS tomorrow.

That’s a lot. If all our current keyboards suffer catastrophes, I’ll ask you about those again.

That is possibly the ugliest keyboard I have ever seen.

I wouldn't mind having one like this: http://steampunkworkshop.com/keyboard.shtml

That looks cool! It would be ripped off my desk inside of a week. I know the one with the yellow keys will stay right here.

Yes, DC, a swimming pool would help. What temperature do you keep it at?

Our heat and humidity brought in a big thunderstorm last night. The stage at Bluesfest came crashing down while Cheap Trick was playing, and one of their truck drivers was impaled. He will survive.

Our boat went flying down the river, along with a couple of others. Hubby retrieved it this morning.

Er... Keep it at? No thermostat on this one. It's one of those E-Z-Set pools. It was 84 degrees while we were in it the other day. About the same temp as most of the Lakes around here right now.

“Our boat went flying down the river”

Flying boats?
Not my fault.

As for Cheap Trick, aren’t their roadies and drivers recruited from the ranks of the undead?
[lower pay requirements.]

I have heard of Arkansa

Arkansas

Plural.

Not that there's more than one State of Arkansas, but that, whatever it's named for, the State has more than one of 'em.

So, The Keeper needs to add "What's an 'Arkansa'?" to The List of Inscrutable Questions; probably somewhere down-page from "Does anybody really know what time it is?" and just a bit before "Why is there air?"

Nice. I’d be for going back and replacing the black felt with a beautiful mahogany or walnut burl veneer.
