A GOOD A.M. TO YOU AND ALL~~~waiting for trial to start on Casey Anthony..we are seeing one mean, spoiled girl, party, party, party was her life style, nothing was to stand in tha way with it.
So hot and muggy down here. just now 830 AM and sweating already. I insit on getting GD a car, I mean after all, what am I gonna do, take it with me? Don’t think so.
William Carey collge has two two location, one in Jackson and here on the coast, about 15 or 20 minutes from where we live, going out in the next few days to vitit teh soast lacation.
OK, time to put up some laundry, d wshed for me yeterday.
Toby
You are a good grandpa. Has GD told you what type of car she’d like? Has her father told you what type of car HE’D like? Is there a good match between the two?
It is muggy here, too, but a good muggy, if such a thing is possible. I am so very thankful for the recent rains and am praying it will rain some more.
GOOD MORNING!!! Such a pretty day here, nary a cloud in the sky, still as a church mouse, a good day to do all the doc visits I have for today/
J, this is the cutest little car, a Jeep station wagon, black, I have one GD with a mouth full of smiles, eyes gleaming and here I sit with some eye problems thus can’t drive. I h ave seen only once a brinks truck in a funeral possesion in a line of cars traveling to a burial site, had to follow, funeral turned into the grave site and the armord car kept going stright.
Have to state, we are in deep ‘stuff’ with with the prez in office, we sure are going downhill, come on, we have GOT to have a change and fast.
OK, time to start prepaing to get ready to go to the doc(s),
gonna be an all day affair, a prod here a taking of blook there, many scales to stand on which all are different in showing my weight and you have better believe I tell the doc how their scales are wrong, not that they care.
Time to start getting ready but will have an apple for breakfast first. Have a good blessed day.
Toby
I am glad you got the car. I drive a jeep and I love it. I got a model made before the government takeover and it is paid for. I hope GD enjoys it for many years.
Good luck at the doc’s office today. Guess he needs to make a boat payment. I hope that they don’t find anything new and that they’re even going to scale back some of their stuff.
He will say ‘loose weight”, I agree but have been flat on my back with eye problems, the least bit of light that hits my left eye puts me down, GD calles me ‘cool hand luke’ wearing shades all the time
Have you are anyone out there been watching the trial on TV? This ‘girl’ is GOING to be found guilty but not biven the death sentence but she will wish they did when gets in they pen, she will suffer more than being given a short cut with cut with the death sentence. Being that my career was lived as a policeman, criminal and drug investagation, murders, the whole thing, they suffer more at the hands of the inmates that death. Her problem was ‘having fun’, party, party, party was her goal in life. Yet, I can understand her parents stading behind her, a child is a child is a child to any parent.
Now, for a weather report from the gulf coast, Hot, HOT, HHHot and it is only 8 A.M..
NOW, last bit of informanton from here at home, the two boys are really growing and really loves going to Church. They watch after me 24-7 and yes, they are into everything and lives chasing the chickens and catching them, love living here going into the wooded areas, I check them for snakes every once in a while.
Toby
Just a quick check in before I get to church to help with Bible School. Our poor state!! Anther huge fire, Los Alamos is evacuatd and likely to lose lots of homes. The lab is in path also and hospital evacuated. Lots of people already taking calves to sale, just trying to save cows. Dryest spell in history. Son as set JUly 15th as deadline for decisions for us. Temperatures were 110-112 over the weekend. Cows are starting downhill. Pray for us and keep good people of Los Alamos lifted up. Denco
They (the docs) ALWAYS say “lose weight.” Sheesh! I don’t think the majority find conditions that aren’t there, but since their job is to find what is wrong, they frequently latch onto things that aren’t really major problems. At least, that is the way it seems to me. There is a time when the patient needs to say, “Enough!”
I am so sorry for that eye of yours. Are you wearing a patch to help keep the light out?
I haven’t been watching that trial. It is just so tawdry. Further, what will happen, will happen. She’ll be found guilty or get off on a technicality the way OJ did for killing his wife. He did it, I think. But if I had been on the jury, I would have had to vote not guilty because it wasn’t proven so by the evidence [I saw] presented. I can imagine this Anthony case does have your attention. Law enforcement has been your life.
It's very satisfying professionally, to start with a clean slate, and do it correctly from the start.
Actually having engineering drawings and documentation, imagine that. ;)

How odd, doing it right from the start? How exciting that must be, too, kinda like raising a kid. I really pray that this will bring you the satisfaction of a “job well done.” I have no doubt that you will do your part well and with your tell-tale flare.
GOOD MORNING...Am able to move around more than I have been and going on a walking stint starting today, leg is better, kind of like saying I am like a old car, this and that seems to break down and needs ajusting, adjust it and things are back on track.
I am not missing one minute of the trial, I love watching the attornys jibber and jabber (the law enforcement still left in me) and follow what I think are the facts are. No question, kid killed by mother, grandmother doing all she can to help daughter.
Allie is besidess herself with the car she has, a few minor things needs adjusting (SIL) taking car back for some adjustments to the dealer, it is used car buy clean as whistle and petty). Being I am finished driving accoring to D I have another means of transportation.
J, I can not say enough about Allie, her h ead is on stright, heart in the right place, has goals in life she wants to meet always with everygthing with God as her pilot. Here sits one eaxh proud grandpa.
Back to watch more on the trail, hzve a gos and blessed day.
Toby
Good morning, Toby! Today is beautiful already. Our zoysia is deep and thick and green, just like it should be. The trial continues but I think it probably will hear closing arguments soon. I used to think that cameras and media coverage would be a good thing, but it seems to have turned our justice system into tawdry circus.
I am happy to report that I feel so much better than I have been feeling, s bigger stride in my step, eyes still bothering me but my sunshades take care of this, the drops I use really bug me, HAVE to use the eye drops often.
Allie sure loves her new car,it is a jeep station wagon looking car. black in color and I am buying her a new gallon pail to wash it with. Something tells if one bit of dust settles on it she will wash it. Lysie, her head is on straight. straight A student, has her goal set in life.
Am loving watch the Anthony case on TV, never have I ever seen a more cold blooded person as I have in that young girl being tried. 100% for herself and to heck with her family and everyone else. It may be police coming out in me but she is cold hearted.
You and all have a good and productive day, a safe one.
Toby
I'm happy to hear that you are feeling better.
Does your family have any plans for Independence Day celebration? Are fireworks legal in your state?
Don’t know what the kids have in mind but me? stay in my house and watch the trial on TV, my former police past has come fourth and the court proceedings are real interesting. Don’t want to see her get death as life in the joint will be harder than the death sentence.
I hate this getting older thing is downer, I remember how aactive I was and wher I am today. Course never thought I would see 75 and got to tell you the truth, am enjoying doing nothing and getting very good in it.
I saw Jesus last week. He was wearing blue jeans and an old shirt. He was up at the church building; He was alone and working hard. For just a minute he looked a little like one of our church members. But it was Jesus, I could tell by his smile.
I saw Jesus last Sunday. He was teaching a Bible class. He didn't talk real loud or use long words, But you could tell he believed what he said. For just a minute, he looked like my Sunday School teacher. But it was Jesus, I could tell by his loving voice.
I saw Jesus yesterday. He was at the hospital visiting a friend who was sick. They prayed together quietly. For just a minute he looked like our pastor. But it was Jesus, I could tell by the tears in his eyes.
I saw Jesus this morning. He was in my kitchen making my breakfast He then fixed me a special lunch to take with me. For just a minute he looked like my Mom. But it was Jesus, I could feel the love from his heart.
I saw Jesus today. He was praying on his knees all alone. He then began to cry for those he prayed for. For just a minute he looked like a lady from our church. But it was Jesus, I could see the compassion poured out of his prayer.
I saw Jesus the other day. He was at the grocery store talking to a friend. He then put his arms around them to comfort them. For just a minute he looked like a young mother in our ladies class. But it was Jesus, I could see the concern for others who hurt.
I see Jesus everywhere, Taking food to the sick, Welcoming others to his home, Being friendly to a newcomer And for just a minute I think he's someone I know. But it's always Jesus, I can tell by the way he serves.
May someone see Jesus in you today. Remember to encourage those you see living for Jesus! "You are My witnesses," says the Lord." (Isaiah 43:5)
Guess what I am having for b’fast this morning, yep, GRITS!!
PLAIN thou, no anything buy grits in the bown.. Nuummm, maybe THAT is the reason of this old age, GRITS!!!!!!! AND THANKS TO YOU I HAVE LEARNED TO EAT INSTANT GRITS!!! Yeah, I know, it is really not american to eat instant grits but, recon it is the way things go nowdays.
My doc appoinments went real good yesterday, just stay on the path I am going the doc said, no new medicines, no ‘lectures’ on dieting, I think I have won that battle with him, the way it went I could really call my appointment in by phone, gonna do what I (rather d) thinks is right for me.
I have a1 chickens that need getting on the menue but no one wants them and I sure ain’t gonna just kill them, told d I hsve 11 new pets.
TAlk to you later, time for that last cup of coffee.
Toby
When I was a policeman I once for three years in a row, saw a man on the side of the highway in the same place, always dressed the same, shabbie, unkept, no smell of uncleanes smell, these were 3 day in 3 years. TWice I picked him up and took him to the jail so he could eat and spend the night. He never said one word to me, just looked at me. All these years I have visioned this person to be an angle, sent here to test folks out how they treated folk with love.
I know this might sould funny but facts are facts.
Toby
Thanks for sharing that Toby. Bless you.
WAR EAGLE!
This is my daughter, one of the assistant managers at Toomer's.
Tree update: they look awful. I'm sorry. I went by Toomer's Corner about 0830 today. I wish I could be more optimistic.
You have a wonderful daughter. You’ve gotta be proud.
About the trees... I hate that. I absolutely loathe Updyke and his ilk.
