I was always sure there would be another great archaeological find like Kink Tut. Now that the Moslem Brotherhood is poised to turn Egypt into an Islamic state, I fear that the age of great diverges will end.
Never forget what the Taliban did to those magnificent statues of Buddha carved out of the mountains.

It looked for a second like Zowie was headed for prison, not sure now. There’s no reason to think that the Egyptian regime is done changing, or that the Islamofascists are done rioting. It’s just quiesent. My guess is we’ll have another uprising, and/or another crackdown, and at that time the whole place will go up, and stay burning for at least a few years. Egypt will more closely resemble Iraq or Pakistan than it does Syria or Saudi Arabia.
But Zowie’s often said stupid things about the Great Pyramid, and this latest one — that this is its last mystery — may be his stupidest yet.

That just doesn’t look like a hieroglyph to me, at all. Are they sure? It looks like a spill of something.
