Great idea Jemian. Thank you! It was fun finding this thread. I read the blog thread most days but never tried to get onto it. All is as well as can be expected here in eastern WA. Cold, rainy, windy weather. Budget disasters at all levels. School districts laying off teachers and support staff and closing schools. Good news about Bin Laden but as usual with Obama, more questions than answers. Good day to everyone.
I am sorry about the teachers being laid off but, imo, many “central offices” are bloated with people who like the work but got tired of the classroom. Like any bureaucracy, it is easy for a school system to become bloated.
There are still many questions about bin Laden but the hypocrisy of this administration is incredible.
I went to school in Everett but we’d visit Eastern WA during the apple season. My uncle loved apple cider and said the only place, in the world, to get decent apple cider was “east of the mountains”.
