The big news of the day is the death and burial at sea of Osama bin Laden. Thank you, President Bush and the US military (including my son and future son-in-law) who made this day happen. Other news is the nuptials of William and Catherine in Great Britain. May God bless their union and draw them close to Him in Jesus Christ. Alabama (my state) and other southeast states continue the task of digging out and rebuilding. A massive effort is underway with able bodies and supplies needed.

Good morning. Son-in-law told us yesterday that at his family’s wheat farm here in eastern Washington,they are five weeks behind where they should be because of the weather. Too windy for the planes to get up to spray.

Hope you have ‘good gardening fun’. Grandsons are needing some breakfast and get ready for school time, so best go get at it.

What I said would make perfect sense to a German engineer. I mean, they just cram words together until they get transistorizedhetrodyneradio or whatever they need out of it.

Good Morning. Summer arrived yesterday. It was hot and humid and I worked to finish removing all the winter gunk from the flower beds. I am nearly finished with the public areas that can be seen from the road.

Then I have some areas inside the fenced in patio to finish up. It’s been a long haul, but it feels good to have the worst behind me. Have I mentioned that I hate watergrass?

Good afternoon everybody. My eyes have returned to normal and I’m able to read and post with only the usual amount of typo’s. Can’t blame them on dilated eyes today.

We’re going out for BBQ dinner with friends in an hour or so.

I see that Gov. Rick Perry declined to fly down to El Paso on the taxpayers nickle for a 5-10 minute photo-op with Zeroman on the tarmac. Good for Perry!
