Don’t forget him in “Dementia 13”, and “The High and the Mighty.” RIP One of my favorites.

William Campbell was one of those good old character actors of the 1950’s. With Kirk Douglas in “Man Without a Star”. His ST-TOS part as Trelane was more over the top than Bill Shatner’s Kirk.

RIP, Mister Campbell.

"Squire" was one of the best episodes ever. Equal parts "Twilight Zone" (think Billy Mummy spoiled godling) and "The Most Dangerous Game" topped off with a snarky bitch of a queen.

Villains are the best roles.

Before Star Trek, intro showing William Campbell co-starring in a forgotten series about truck drivers. Catchy theme too.

I remember reading that had ST gone to a fourth season, Campbell’s Klingon character of Koloth was going to be featured prominently as a running foil to Kirk. Alas, was not to be. He was memorable, nonetheless. RIP.

William Campbell co-starred in one of my favorite TV shows when I was a little kid:

He was also the husband of Judith Campbell Exner, one of JFK’s mistresses.
