If you are right and the Republicans put forth a lukewarm candidate, then why should the independent Conservative need to back down?

I say the Republican Party should back down.

Why is it that Conservatives should always be the one to back down in a three way race “for the good of” the country, etc?

When will conservatives grab their balls and be able to run a three way race against a Republican party that time and time again has failed?

Should we do it now or wait four more years and try again then, and in the meantime accept a “the best we can do for now” candidate?

What the hell kind of manby-pamby approach is that?

And so what if Trump is newly converted?

Better newly converted and can win that never converted and can never win, which is what the Republican Party has shown us it is now and forever more will be.

Wake up people. Grab the brass ring here.

I never said an independent conservative would or should back down.

What I said was that in a 3-way between Zero, Trump as an Independent, and some Real-man Romney type pubbie BS, then Zero would win, Trump would easily come in second, and all the party-line pubbies would end up being the spoilers.
