I’ve DVRd every episode, but haven’t yet had the opportunity to watch them. I’m hoping to get some time next weekend. Does anyone know if they’re actually worth watching?
Of the 4 brothers, the only one worth a crap was Joe Jr., who died admirably serving his country in WWII. The rest were drunks, murderers, serial philanderers, rapists and criminals.
Oh man, I wish I would have known about this I would have DVR’ed them. I hope they will have it on again.
Maria Shriver and Caroline Kennedy
We have no TV reception. Does the show point out what good friends and supporters they were of Joe McCarthy? Joe McCarthy is actually Kathleen Kennedy Townsend’s (Robert’s daughter) Godfather.
Rumor has it, he gets shot in the final episode...
So glad you posted this thread.
Have watched a few episodes and Greg Kinear is fantastic.
But then Kinear never disappoints - deserves an Oscar for this performance...he captures JFK with understated brilliance.
It’s been a great series and am looking forward to seing the last 2 episodes. Do they finally bring Teddy out? Thus far it’s almost like he never existed. LOL.
I don’t get REELZ why don’t they put it on a channel everyone can get.
Let’s see....John was shagging Marylin and anything else in a skirt....Bobby was porking Jackie..and Ted was holding his breath while ..
I have Comcast cable and it is on ON DEMAND - I just found it today and watched 6 episodes not knowing the 7th was on tonight:( Maybe the 7th will show up on demand tomorrow.
It was very good - great acting - good slice of history.
The problem with this series is that it comes far too late. Middle-aged Americans weren’t even born when John and Robert Kennedy were alive. Breaking down the Kennedy mythos would have been interesting and daring 30 years ago. Now it’s irrelevant, like the Kennedys themselves.
I watched it and did you notice The Swimmer was never mentioned?
It was as though he was never born! LOLOLOLOL.
He had high praise for it, really high. This tells me something given his conservative credentials.
There's probably zillions of us out here in the vast wasteland who can't get the series on our TVs. There are some fine hands of evil control somewhere in the land who obviously have the political/financial power to control mainstream TV output for their own ideological purposes whenever they feel it's necessary to pounce.
The result of this hidden power is that comparatively few of our populace will actually be able to see and ponder some evident truths about the sainted Kennedy icons.
Will O'Reilly devote any of his "talking points" to this censorship from the Left? After all, he's "always looking out for the folks", isn't he?
