Full title of page: "Directory:Andrea Rossi's Cold Fusion Energy Catalyzer (E-Cat): Frequently Asked Questions"

There have been other articles posted recently about this new technology, but I saw this FAQ page, and realized that it's a good primer for folks who are unfamiliar with it, to get a quick understanding of what everyone's talking about.

Can the device self sustain without an input?

Yes. This mode of operation has been achieved many times for a period of several hours during experimentation. However, to achieve a self sustaining mode of operation, the nuclear reactions must be allowed to become very energetic, and the output becomes so high that explosions are possible. During ordinary use the system will be utilizing only a fraction of the output possible when in a self sustaining mode.

That is so funny I don't even know where to begin.

The one simple test that has absolutely zero risk of reverse engineering hasn’t been allowed.

That is a radiation detector or a gamma ray detector. Radiation is a sure sign of an active nuclear reaction. Lead shielding doesn’t stop all types radiation and there would still be radiation leaking around the ports.

Rossi has been to Prison for scams before and this 3rd party scientists is in most cases Sergio Focardi which works for Rossi.

Because they won’t allow direct verification of radiation levels to ensure there is actually a nuclear reaction ongoing and their past history, I have to write this off as a well thought out fraud which involves nothing more than parlor tricks.

Would love to be wrong, but that is what this is pointing too.

I still think that the upper echelons of government/corporations around the world have known about a variety of new energy products that were just then in the theory and modeling phase.

Last year there was some kind of Government Patent List of the 100 newest technologies for providing energy. A lot of them were location specific, took up large areas of land or ocean, caused problems with flora and fauna, etc.

But quite a few were like this one. And they would work, in theory. They may already be undergoing testing, for all I know.

The Large conglomerates and those who buy 100’ yachts with their huge incomes, are not going to sit by idly while some new technology replaces them. They didn’t get rich by being stupid.

Ergo, all the BS of the past 4-10 years.

That is why the GREEN CONCEPT and GLOBAL WARMING CONCEPT. They needed to get out of the fossil fuels and into ‘green’ and it costs a lot of money to do that , so guess who is footing the bill so that those in power, can stay in power ????
