My oldest scared the bejabbers out of me ... on purpose ;-). I used to ride with #1 son, who is now 17 and can have a license once he has his Eagle Scout project approved, but I was in a head-on collision about a year and a half ago and I’m more nervous now, especially when I’m not in the 15-passenger van that saved my life (and Sally’s, and the baby’s).

Hopefully #2 son won’t get overconfident as quickly as the last one did: even his Dad refused to take him for driving practice after a while.

Eagle Scout

Well your experience has been more... exciting... than ours was as we went through taking 3 sons through driver's training but we had our moments, too. And I hope you are fully recovered from your accident! Your nerves will take awhile.

Also, congrats on your Eagle Scout. A great accomplishment especially in these dark days.
