Swedish flamingoes massacred in frenzied anteater attack

A flock of ten flamingoes have met a brutal end at a zoo in Eskilstuna in eastern Sweden after a curious anteater broke into their compound and clawed them to death, leaving a further five birds nursing injuries.

Frank will see DP or me with a glass of wine and say, “He needs the wine for his tooth! For his tooth!” He is just starting, in the last few days, to correct himself when he uses a third-person instead of first-person pronoun. “Pick him up ... pick ME up!”

The proliferation of anteaters where they are least expected is disturbing.

Dunno what they are plotting, but closets, wines, and eliminating flamingoes are part of it.

The flamingo connection is not clear to me yet ... but it’s only May 11, we have time.

It’s raining here, and I need to go to Walmart.

The anteater plot against the flamingo species will soon become obvious as to the intent.

Watch out for the usual fools who absolutely MUST slam on the brakes because there’s like, um, water on their, like, umm, windshield, and they don’t know how it got there.

Yeah, that happened on the way to Tom’s driver ed class.

There was a traffic light blinking yellow, because we had a big storm over night, and traffic backed way up. When I drove up the road taking Tom up into Charlotte, the back up was only about 300 yards, but on the way back on the same road, it was well over a mile.

Update on Emberlie:

Our little Emberlie gets to Make a Wish at the foundation tonight, her parents have been having her practice saying Disney World, well today her Radiation doctors and nurses were excited to hear she got to make a wish and asked her what she was going to wish for Emberlie smiled and said real clear "Muffins and marshmellows."

We have two lights in a row in Port Jervis on Route 6.
Problem is, they shuht the lights OFF in teh afternoon to ‘alleviate traffic’.

Great-gramma says Emberlie’s personality is now changing, probably due to meds and chemo. I can’t help but wish I were there to help support my friend.

Fortunately, I was headed “out of town” on my second pass, and there was no traffic worth mentioning. I think I’ll take an alternate route when I pick Tom up this afternoon, though, just in case.

Yep. That was my first thought. But they most likely don’t understand that it’s all about the little cancer patient, and not about her support group.
