A flock of ten flamingoes have met a brutal end at a zoo in Eskilstuna in eastern Sweden after a curious anteater broke into their compound and clawed them to death, leaving a further five birds nursing injuries.

Cool hats.
I survived roasting marshmallows with the Tiger Cubs and a dozen or so of their rampaging siblings. Frank was very disappointed by the marshmallows; he liked the word so much, but he didn’t care for the taste at all.
Your transmission contains a typographical error. Specifically, the word "stufing" is not spelled correctly.
I just want to say, f that.
I thought stufing was a technical, hamster-type term.
It's not as much as fun on these things as LoM might think. Yes, I get to see "new" places but 5 or 6 meetings down the road Georgia Tech or Germantown MD or even San Francisco, since it sounds like we'll be returning here annually, gets old. And there are situations like right now where I'm trying to decide where to go for dinner since there are few good options close by.
Little or no Internet during the day is not good either. Tomorrow morning is not going to be good with important teleconferences conflicting with my meeting. And then... 8 hours to kill before my flight home.
It's very much like stuffing, except in much smaller pieces.
Got any 4’s?
I’m off to watch the Blankie Show.
Mom’s Day is Sunday, and MY day is the 15th!
*heh* I have lasted ALL THIS TIME!
They say that "the future belongs to those who show up," ....
... and I want to live there.
Yo, Doggies!
Today was a REALLY BAD DAY, because the bus driver had a ‘TUDE!!! SO I turned the butt-head in.
EK-tually, he was spoiling for a fight, and I wasn’t about to give it to him.
In the meantime, I remembered that life is GOOD!!!
I’ve got four decent suggestions:

Go with the hot pastrami Reuben.
"Stufing" is clearly Norvegian, pronounced "SHTU-fing" (or something like that). What it means I don't know, except it seems to be a somewhat encouraged activity at the Smörgåsbord. Maybe LoM's Svedish can help us øut.
TWO days this month!!!!
Sorry I missed your reply. I was out with a couple of Swiss colleagues to a simple dinner in an "Irish" pub.
Now I am back in the hotel, trying to figure out how to resolve the conflicts between an *IMPORTANT* teleconference, a face-to-face meeting, and a slightly less-important webmeeting (but one I get all the blame for if an issue is not addressed therein). Oh, and pack for the short visit home. Er...
We used to have a Togo’s in Redmond, in walking distance of work. It’s now a Blimpie’s which just isn’t the same.
DAY-um!
I didn’t know there was anything alive that could survive getting nicked by a King Cobra. Color me impressed.
And, yeah, as a matter of fact I already guessed: the honey badger doesn’t give a s___.
[But — LAWD — BAG that flamer ‘Randall’! I mean, what’s WITH that; channeling Marlin Perkins in drag? GAACK!]
Ahh, dat’s a shame. I mean, I respect Blimpie’s; they’re a cold cut above Subway, and they’ve mustard alotta support, but they romaine inferior.
With their signature pastrami, and their always-fresh bread; TOGO’S stands a-loaf from the rest.
Not that that is any news to those of you who really know me.
Anoreth is my evil other self.
We have the same problem then.
It’s hard to tell the difference.
I’m taller and thinner.
I told Pat to find “Healthy Latin Cooking,” but instead, he’s disappeared. I guess I’ll have to find it myself.
Sigh.
Morning!
