Great point!
What is YOUR problem? I’ve used Dial Idol as a guideline since season 4 or 5. While it isn’t always the most accurate, it is a small indicator. If your contestant is doing poorly you can determine that there. I use it mostly on performance night to determine if I need to vote a lot or not.
My liking Country is nothing new, I voted for Carrie Underwood, too.
You can go back to your whining now. Oh wait, you hadn’t stopped.
Yep! AI voters got it right AGAIN!
Just saw them, but it was closer to 8:40! They said they are not dating, just good friends. :)
Scotty: I got about two hours of sleep last night. Hasn't sunk in yet.
Brian asks Lauren about going home and seeing all the tornado destruction. She still can't believe it. Feels bad for all the recent victims of tornadoes.
Brian asks Scotty about going home. You have to go back to school?
Scotty: I got a test coming up (laughs) English. Gotta study.
Has Idol changed him? asks Brian.
Scotty: I left Garner as Scotty and I'm coming back as Scotty.
Brian: You two were always talking about values. Always talking about God.
Lauren: I think the results every year reflect the values of everyone voting. We love Jesus!
Tim McGraw: (in a seperate interview) What are they 16, 17? They're handling all this better than I was at 26 or even 36. (laughs) So they're a lot further down the road than I was.

Before her almost-kiss with Spiderman at the end of Bono, The Edge and Reeve Carney’s performance of ‘Rise Above 1,’ judge Jennifer Lopez enjoyed a makeup touch up during the commercial break.
After the performance, the three men spoke to reporters to discuss the song and being on America’s largest stage.
“There was an emerald green room and then the other one,” Bono laughed when asked about hanging out with the night’s other A-list performers. The Edge chimed in, “They didn’t let us in [to the VIP area]!”
Bono then likened the Fox hit to the Ed Sullivan show: “This is probably the only show that everyone watches.” The Edge reminded Bono that Tom Jones, who also performed that evening, had the honor of appearing on both television programs.
The legendary singer himself stopped by moments later.
“No applause? Jones jokingly asked the roomful of media. A devoted Idol watcher, Jones admitted to getting emotional during rehearsals for the show.
I really started to get full up because the songs still stand up and sound like powerful songs, he said. These fellas deliver and put their own twists on it. That’s always great to hear.”
Though he couldnt watch the rest of the finale because his trailer didnt have a live feed, he heartily endorsed the nights winner: 17 year-old Scott McCreery.
Scotty already has his own style, Jones said. He’s got a great tone to his voice which is something you either do or don’t have. The actual tone of your voice is a god-given gift and he has a great tone. I think he knows what he’s doing.
Tid bit of info
McCreery was joined at the finale by his teacher, Meredith Clayton, the choral director at Garner High. Clayton said in February that missing baseball would be tough for McCreery, and that was before anyone was thinking the deep-voiced country crooner would last until nearly Memorial Day, thus missing the Trojans entire season.
None of that mattered Wednesday night. Clayton talked to FOXSports.com moments after McCreery was named the winner.
I couldnt be prouder, said Clayton, whose mother was former Idol runner-up Clay Aikens choral teacher. He is so deserving. I am absolutely thrilled for Scotty and his family.
I recognize that you are no artist and never will be. Outside looking in. LOL LOL LOL You will not hear from me again. Super duper waste of time mr. maggot.
AI drops them really fast after one year if they don't produce. The so so winners are like electric cars. The charge runs out and there you are stalled on a superhighway next stop the Disney Light Parade. As a person, Scotty's fine.
LMAO!!
The show could be summed up with another Anchorman quote:
LOUD NOISES!!!
There was an emerald green room and then the other one, Bono laughed when asked about hanging out with the nights other A-list performers. The Edge chimed in, They didnt let us in [to the VIP area]!
That is just too funny. Yeah, no diva behavior from JLO at all!
No applause? Jones jokingly asked the roomful of media.
Hahahahaha! I picture Will Ferrell as Robert Goulet saying that line.
Jonny thank you SO very much for all your hard work with this thread. This year it was the only way I could keep up with AI. As I type this, I’m at work and have worked 6 straight days. Will work tomorrow also, then will finally have a weekend. Since January, I’ve bounced around 4 different shifts because they had a high turnover during this time. Crazy hours. So thanks again. :)
I laughed too, over Tom Jones’ trailer didn’t have live feed! AI spared no expense. /s
Hi Wolfstar! Nice to see you. :) Hope your weekend is great!
Great Final ping! Omg, it seems like forever since we saw that crack ho get married in Vegas! Great collection of photos!
Rofl, your yearbook from this current year — 2008!!! Ha ha ha!
Thanks Net. It will be great just because I’m not here, lol.
“Randy is wearing something from the Milk Man meets Ice Cream Truck collection this evening..”
I have grown fond of Randy’s English public school boys uniforms! With red or glitter shoes! It’s his thing and it’s cute how he sticks with it.
Why is Jacob being a jerk?
He was born that way.
I am sooooooooo going to miss my morning after LOLs on this thread! You guys slay me!
I know that! You sure earned your weekend off! :)
