Lauren doesn’t sound any different to me. She has always sounded like a smoker. That’s not a slam, just the way I hear her. Wish Scotty would end a song down low like he did at the beginning of the competition. That was his signature and I miss it. Lauren sure has had a lot of drama to pull from the last couple of weeks, what with the tornado and the voice. ...just a bunch of random thoughts.

His choice for Scotty is "I Love You This Big". I'm not sure if this an original song made just for Idol or not. It sounds too good for that, LOL! But I can't find any lyrics on Google, so maybe it is brand new. Scotty sings the heck out of it. Very smooth.

It varies from season to season. I know Taylor Hicks and Kat McPhee sang different songs. I think Jordin Sparks and Beatbox Boy sang the same song.
I’ll be voting for Lauren. Here’s her single should she win. I hope it’s better than Scotty’s single.
