You are really a nasty person today. Don’t know what’s up with that, but I have spent a number of hours now answering your demands for me to do your homework. I really have no idea what you are talking about that the 50 page thread at Idol wasn’t even up when I posted it??? It’s been up since last night.
I do believe that I quoted from another thread that I did not list previously, so you can peruse this thread as well since you seem to think I made it all up.
I didn’t say that site wasn’t up. I said that particular post wasn’t up. It is at the bottom of the second page and says:

The phone system was not functioning properly/the numbers were skewed so voted for James actually went to Haley/the internet voting wasn’t functioning right either. Something needs to be done. it is obvious to anyone who knows music and talent that James is the winner. Someone will offer him a contract. I wish I had the money to help him record his music. I am 65 and not a heavy metal fan but James has enlightened me. His talent knows no bounds. Haley most definitely should have been the one sent home. I will watch to see if James is brought back for a second vote that is correct. If not I will no longer be an AI fan. I can find something more honest to do with my time. We want James back!!! AI you crossed the line big time with this mistake. Now FIX it!!!!

This is a matter of BUSY SIGNALS. You know, that beep beep sound you get when the line is BUSY. I tried calling in for Scotty a lot of times when I got busy signals, too. You just have to keep calling.
When they have multiple phone numbers per person I try to stay with the first #.

In case you didn’t know. I think you are only allowed 5 online votes. So the people complaining about getting errors in the online voting may have exceeded their limit.
Actually, from reading that thread in its entirety, numerous people made reference to a 50 vote limit online. I’m presuming that is true, but do not know as fact.
Yes I did vote. For Scotty at #3. I’m always amazed at the people that don’t vote but whine when their person gets booted! Then it conspiracies....
Really. This is a bit ridiculous. I am not whining. I merely presented what I had read on this thread and stated my opinion that the voting has some very serious issues which I have found IMO to be true for at least the last few years. To which you promptly called me a liar even after providing proof of what I said I was reading. And it just continues.

I voted for James and Scotty, about 20 times each. All my Scotty calls were to the -07 number and resulted in either busy signal or “Thanks for voting for contestant #3”. I think I got in about 14 votes for him.
BUT. Of the 20 James calls (to the -05 number), at least 10 resulted in...nothing. No busy signal. No voice thank you. Just dead air. I tried the -01# a couple of times, but got busy signal.
I can testify that there WAS something wrong with James’ second number. I just hadn’t thought about it until I saw the back and forth here on the thread.

I’ve gotten dead air before, but usually it was because I didn’t let enough time go by before hitting redial.
I meant to add:
I would say I got about 4 busy and 6 actual votes. 10 or more were dead air. At least with a busy you can hang up and redial quickly. But with dead air, you’re just left hanging there. It was irritating.
When I did get thru, it said “Thanks for voting for contestant #1”. So I didn’t experience what the commenters were complaining about.
But there was definitely something wrong.
Honestly. WHAT are you talking about? I gave links when you asked. Then you demanded I do all your research which took about 2 hours. Then I posted all of that. Now you are saying...what? During those hours, things got posted that I then copied and pasted. I’ve never said a damn thing about transposing numbers.
I’m pretty much done with this conversation. I have spent nearly all afternoon chasing after your demands. And all this started with my giving my opinion that the voting is messed up...that LOTS of people were complaining about it all in various forms and got treated to more of your demands and being called a liar and now somehow I’m being accused of making things up even though I’ve provided enough proof of what I said originally to choke a horse. But still you continue.
You obviously think this AI voting is just pure and ethical. I say it is not. That doesn’t make you a liar. Nor does it make me one as much as you’d like it to be so. Have a good evening.
