I catch germs at medical type places. It’s not a good match for me. I like private parties cuz I usually know everyone. If the economy turned around, I’d be shooting more videos for people - that pays for a few hours of time. I like to film videos and direct too. The bloopers are hilarious when we’re reviewing all the raw footage. We pick our favorite takes and merge them but my favorite is to let the camcorder just keep filming for a complete all in one.
Winning young is not bad unless they wreck their lives like a Lindsey Lohan.
A lot of those songs are dated and/or would sound silly on these idol singers, imo. Maybe Haley could do “Swingin’ on a Star” with Casey and they could jazz it up.
Jacob is “church” but last week he dropped some of the frills and trills, so I give him credit for that. I also like that he showed character in putting his foot down. If he had sung “Let’s Get it On,” can you imagine how awful that would have been? We don’t know how experienced or inexperienced he is. I think he made a wise, smart choice.
Would love to see Paul voted off this week, then I can really enjoy the show. I can handle a few more weeks of Jacob over Paul.

My favorite movie tied with Hard Day’s Night and Out of Africa: Oh Brother Where Art Thou. I’m a Man of Constant Sorrow. Scotty could definitely do that. That movie’s great!
Its kind of hard to know what you want them to sing. Take Scotty for instance, do you have him sing country, do bluegrass, take an easy listening song and sing it that way or countrify it?
I agree on the dated. Then again, maybe that's the point, to make them updated.
Haley is a hard one to pick for because like Casey she tends to grown too much. The judges have hurt them both early on by telling them they liked their growl. Then they did it too much and the judges had to get after Casey for that,while they still encourage Haley to do it. If Haley could control that she might be able to do Cabaret.
Meant to tell you that Kelly Clarkson is supposed to be on the results show this week.

I did Swingin’ on a Star in February. It’s wordy - may be a risk from forgetting the lyrics thing.
I picked up a Glenn Campbell gospel cd at a thrift store. It’s really good. When GC was everywhere, he did the formula stuff and this gospel cd is way better than his songs about Wichita and Galveston (calm down, Kansas and Texas.) Everybody so touch around here. LOL

Downloads burned to cds wear out sometimes. I hate that. I download backing tracks or songs I can’t figure out and need to hear the vocal track.
Your library probably has all of them...plan a date nite with your hubby..you’ll thank me..
