LOL--I bet the Idol producers are having the same reaction right now. "What did we do??"
I liked Taylor in that he was different. Looking back, I can see how he would have been irritating to people. His style was different at the time.
He certainly hasn’t gone anywhere.
Evidently, you knew what the rest of us didn’t then :) Good call
Chris Daughtry was my favorite too and I also said I’d stop watching AI after his elimination...but it’s years later and here I am still watching! LOL I’m also not a Taylor Hicks fan but I would have prefered to see him tonight instead of Constantine...
Did you hear how Ryan ended the show with something like—stay with us...please!—like nobody would tune in ever again. And why did he read that stupid quote from diva boy about America looking in the mirror? Was it to sabotage him next week? Let’s hope so.
Yes, she did. I miss her. I hope her daughters have done well.
According to what I’ve seen of the Dialidol website, Scotty is murdering everybody every week...it’s not even close.
What Cruise line do you work for ?
What Cruise line do you work for ?
He was playing at a local casino here only a year or two after his big win. I thought my SIL was going to have a heart attack she was laughing so hard when I told her.
She would fit right in our snarky Idol chat. Except for the fact that she is a raging liberal who thinks Obama walks on water, I would invite her to join us.
Pia was eliminated, did you hear? You and Americas hordes of cultural ignoramuses should be screeching with joy.

You lumped her right on in there. That's a fact.
Actually Hicks hasn’t done that badly.
Crystal Bowersox’s ‘Farmer’s Daughter’ tops Lee DeWyze’s first-week album sales
The numbers are in for “American Idol” Season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox and while they are not breaking the bank, they are better than Season 9 winner Lee DeWyze’s first-week sales.
Crystal’s producer, David Bendeth, tweeted early Wednesday morning (Dec. 22) that “Farmer’s Daughter” has sold 57,804 in its first week on the shelves/available for download. That’s good for a debut at no. 28 on the Billboard 200 chart. By comparison, Lee DeWyze’s “Live it Up” debuted nine spots higher but sold almost 20,000 less units.
Bendeth also reports the Bowersox’s album is no. 2 on the Billboard Rock Albums, no. 8 on Billboard Digital Albums and no. 90 on Billboard Canadian chart.
To contrast her with other runner-ups, you can see below (numbers via USA Today) that her just-shy of 58,000 units puts her only in front of Justin Guarini and Diana DeGarmo. Things are not looking good for the Season 9 Idols. Do you think Season 10 will see the pendulum swing back? Or has the “Idol” ship sailed?

Dude. I have read all of you posts tonight what is really going on in your life? I will pray for you I hope you get help
Same here. Cowell bad mouthed Hicks every chance he got. He may have done a lot better had he been promoted in a positive way like the other winners.
Do you remember "To Tell The Truth?" When Bill Cullen would ask "the real so-and-so" to "please stand up" and all three panelists would feint and pretend to stand and sit until the revealed person was left standing?
Idol uses that kind of misdirection well. Ryan's comments were intended to throw TV viewers' attention towards Jacob's negative comments right before delivering the "shocking" news that Pia had been eliminated.
It's the kind of whipped-up scripting these kinds of shows use to increase the drama to which America is apparently addicted. I know I am. LOL
He’s been on the top every time I’ve noticed. However, they’ve been all over the place otherwise. Not even close on tonight’s
I was very careful to intentionally separate her from "America's hordes of cultural ignoramuses." That is the fact.
I posted this:
"You and Americas hordes of cultural ignoramuses should be screeching with joy."
Had I wanted to lump her in, I would have written this:
"You and the rest of Americas hordes of cultural ignoramuses should be screeching with joy.
I'm precise with my language, Netizen. You should try to apply the same rigors to your comprehension.
Cool...and while you're at it ask for better one-liners
The key word is AND. “You and Americas hordes of cultural ignoramuses should be screeching with joy.” You included her.
We are not stupid. I’ve seen your work on other threads. You’re a real piece of work.
gosh NO! No liberals!
There is no talking to those people. I tried facts and reason with a young fella I work with a couple days ago. It’s always the same thing...”Bush this, Bush that”. He actually even said about Obama that it takes time to get things done in a presidents first term.
Yet, he’s turning the country socialist with lightening speed.
