I would imagine it is an old school tv that was put on top of a dresser

My dad would put a big ole picture tube 25” set on top of a TV snack table. It is wonder that we lived. The good old days when parents chain smoked in the station wagon, windows rolled up, and the kids playing in the back seat without a seat belt. It was a dangerous time.

That would certainly be my second guess(a very close 2nd). The kid probably tried climbing on the dresser, tipping it, and bringing the TV down on them.(happened to one of our kids one time)

This is exactly what happened to my husband's cousin's 3 year old grandson (one of twins) a year ago last Christmas. He died before arriving at the hospital. An older style TV sitting on a dresser, the baby tried using the dresser drawers as stairs and the TV and dresser fell over and crushed him.

I had to anchor my entertainment center to the wall when my daughter started to crawl around the house. The taller entertainment centers are real easy to tip forward when they are sitting on a carpet.
