My country is acting very strange, I don’t even recognize it anymore but almost everyone else doesn’t even seem to notice.

Follow the Constitution. The Constitution is a fantastic set of rules, which has not only “worked” to create prosperous people, but also excelled in creating (very quickly) a world leader, the likes of which the Human Race has never seen.
Within our founding documents are Christian values and Christian fundamentals. Keep these within your sights as well - because whether you’re christian or not - These principals help all those who are willing to help themselves.
We will see it through this. America may be somewhat changed when it’s all said and done, but we americans are the strongest and most resilient people in the history of mankind.

A guy I recently met was out of work for 4 months, with a family of 3. Within a matter of weeks (like, 5) he now cleans parking lots at night. Its his business. He found a need, now he does it. It’s not his dream job to clean parking lots, but if he keeps at it - he’ll have himself a nice little bargainning chip, and no longer needs to be on the government dole. Capitalism ensures that we can do this.

Hang in there. I think most people here felt the same way - I know I did. Keep in contact with like-minded people online; get involved wherever you are face to face; ignore naysayers no matter how loud or pervasive they seem, and remember we’re in it together, and we’re going to get out of it together.

I know the Bible isn’t the Constitution, but the Constitution is full of god-granted rights.
Of course leadership has chosen to abandon it. It isn’t FOR the leadership. It’s for the people. As long as you, and I, and we all regard the Constitution - it is as powerful as ever.
